Overview

The South Coast Artists Open Studio Tour takes place annually on the third weekend of July and August in the South Coast Region of Rhode Island and Massachusetts. The SCA Mobile App serves as a digital version of the printed brochure map, providing visitors with a modern way to explore the tour. Featuring up to 75 artists, sponsor galleries, and sponsors, the tour offers a diverse range of artistic experiences. Many artists showcase their creative process during the tour, offering visitors a behind-the-scenes look at the work and lives of these talented individuals.

• Mark 'Favorite' Studios to easily plan your visit.
• Access directions to studios without the need to enter an address.
• Share and like studios directly on Facebook and engage with other attendees through comments on your experience.

Who We Are

The South Coast Artists, Inc. is a federally approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to promoting artistic growth and recognition among artists in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Through various initiatives, SCA supports visual artists residing and working in Tiverton and Little Compton, Rhode Island; and Dartmouth and Westport, Massachusetts by hosting annual open studio tours and related events in the South Coast Region. By providing opportunities for the community to engage with local artists, explore their creative spaces, and appreciate art firsthand, SCA aims to foster greater involvement in the arts within the region. This exposure not only educates but also enhances awareness of the diverse artistic landscape in the South Coast Region of Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

Our Creative South Coast Artists' Community

Many studio and gallery locations maintain regular visiting hours and welcome guests by appointment. Artist profiles are accessible year-round for those interested in arranging future visits or contacting the artists directly.
